Little Makers Art Club

Little Makers is a small, relaxed creative club for children who love to explore, experiment and make things with their hands.

Rather than following a project step-by-step, children are given interesting materials, ideas and plenty of room to see where their own creativity takes them.

We’ll paint, cut, tear, build, layer, collect and experiment using paper, cardboard, fabric, natural materials, found objects and things that might otherwise be thrown away.

Some days we’ll make something to take home. Other days might be about exploring a material, discovering a new technique or simply seeing what happens when we try something different.

It’s not about making the right thing. It’s about being curious, getting involved and enjoying the process.

With only 7 places, Little Makers is intentionally small and relaxed. A place for children to slow down, get messy, follow their curiosity and make something that’s completely their own. Accompanying grown-ups can enjoy a cuppa and a biscuit too.

With just 7 children in the group, each place is held for your child throughout the term. Bookings are non-refundable once the term has commenced. Missed sessions cannot be refunded, transferred to another child, or made up at a later date. If you need to cancel before the term begins, please contact me as soon as possible. Little Wonders Photography Club

Little Wonders Club is a small creative photography club for curious kids who like to notice things.

Each week, a little photographic adventure begins with a prompt delivered by snail mail addressed to your child.

The prompt might ask them to look for a particular colour, shape, texture, shadow, tiny detail or something unexpected in the world around them.

Then they head out with their camera and start looking.

They might photograph one thing, twenty things or something completely unexpected. There isn’t a right answer – the challenge is simply to slow down and notice.

From looking to making

Children choose their 3 favourite photographs from their adventures and email them to me to be printed.

When we meet at the studio, we look at their photographs together, talk about what we noticed and share our different ways of seeing.

The photographs then become part of a creative response, maybe a journal page, collage, drawing or mixed-media piece.

Over time, each child builds their own collection of photographs and creative responses: a record of the things they’ve noticed along the way.

A little gallery of their own

At the end of each term, every child chooses a favourite piece they’ve created.

We’ll put their chosen work up on the studio wall, where it will be displayed for the whole of the following term.

So when they come back, they’ll see their work becoming part of the studio, alongside the work of the other Looking Club members.

And then next term… another adventure arrives.

A new prompt.

Make and Believe

An art club for adults

Give yourself permission to slow down. Make something. Believe you can

Make & Believe is a relaxed, fortnightly creative evening for adults who want to make time for themselves and their creativity.

Bring an idea you’ve been thinking about, a project you’ve been meaning to start, or come without a plan at all. If you’re not sure what you want to make, I’ll help you find a starting point.

I’ll be creating alongside you, offering ideas, encouragement and help when you want it, but this isn’t a class, and I’m not here to tell you what your art should look like.

You can work with your own materials and projects, or use what’s available in the studio. You can follow your own idea, or take inspiration from what’s happening around the table.

There are no rules, no right or wrong way to create, and no pressure to finish anything.

It’s simply a couple of hours to step away from the everyday, sit around the table with other creative people and make something just because you can.
